Mini-Circuits’ Termination Connects Quickly from DC to 40GHz Mini-Circuits’ model ANNEQ-50K+ coaxial termination has an extremely broad frequency range of DC to 40GHz. It makes timesaving, quick-turn (one- turn) connections and disconnections in test setups and other systems requiring reliable 50-Ω terminations. It achieves typical return loss of 27dB across the full frequency range. The RoHS-compliant termination is designed for operating temperatures of -55 to +100°C and can handle as much as 1 W (+30dBm) input power. A rugged 2.92-mm connector allows the termination to mate with a variety of wideband connector types, including SMA, K, and 3.5-mm coaxial connectors. Mini-Circuits’ Balun Transformer Tackles 10 to 24GHz Mini-Circuits’ model MTY2-243+ is a wideband balanced-unbalanced (balun) transformer with 2:1 impedance ratio and frequency range of 10 to 24GHz. The 50-Ω heterojunction-bipolar-transistor (HBT) GaAs MMIC balun transformer achieves low insertion loss of typically 1.0dB through 20GHz and 1.5dB from 20 through 24GHz. It features excellent repeatability, with typical amplitude unbalance of 0.7dB or better from 10 to 20GHz and 0.4dB from 20 to 24GHz and typical phase unbalance of 6.4 deg. or better across the full frequency range. The RoHS- compliant transformer is well suited for applications in radar, satcom, and test systems. Mini-Circuits’ Compact Highpass Filter Screens 1.6 to 6.0GHz Mini-Circuits’ model HFCG-1500+ highpass filter combines high out-of-band rejection with a low- loss passband of 1.6 to 6.0GHz. Fabricated with low-temperature- cofired-ceramic (LTCC) technology and housed in a tiny ceramic surface-mount 0805 package measuring just 2.00×1.25 mm, the highpass filter has typical insertion loss of 2.0dB or better from 1.6 to 6.0GHz with typical rejection of 40dB from DC to 800MHz and 35dB from 800 to 1000MHz. The passband VSWR is typically 1.90:1 or better. The compact filter is a good fit for dense PCB layouts, with wrap-around terminations for good solderability. The RoHS-compliant highpass filter handles as much as 3 W input power while maintaining excellent temperature stability across an operating temperature range of -55 to +100°C. Mini-Circuits’ Cables Make Stable Connections to 26GHz Mini-Circuits’ model FLC-1FT-SMSM+ Series flexible test cables make repeatable, low-loss connections from DC to 26GHz. The RoHS-compliant, 50-Ω cable assemblies are qualified for at least 20,000 bend cycles and are available from stock in a variety of lengths, with stainless-steel male SMA connectors. A 1-ft. cable exhibits typical insertion loss of 0.25dB from DC to 6GHz and 0.61dB from 6 to 26GHz. The typical VSWR is 1.06:1 or better from DC to 26GHz. Full-band
