B orn in Terre-de-Haut, Saintes (Guadeloupe), Dr. Bernard Saturnin Bonbon is an art connoisseur who developed an interest in drawing, geometry and painting as a child. An associate professor and researcher, Dr. Bonbon received a Ph.D. in information and communication sciences from the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, a Ph.D. in arts and mathematics from the University of Paris 8, a bachelor’s degree, and a Diploma of Profound Studies in educational sciences. Having had his research work validated by the scientific community, he became an art researcher, later served as an associate professor, and qualified as a lecturer and specialist in the mathematics of visual space at The Université Grenoble Alpes. Dr. Bonbon has published several works related to art and science in the French, German and Italian languages

that are listed in more than 30 countries and at the University of Applied Sciences, state libraries, and polytechnic, engineering and architecture schools. These are, among others, “Modern Perspective”; “Three-Dimensional Spherical Geometry”; “Geometry of the Visual Relief ”; his manifesto, “Art, Mathematics en computer Art”; and “The Scientific and Artistic Perspective,” which received an award from the Ministerial Commission of Books. In addition to his research, teaching and scientific writing experience, he created an artistic style that characterized his manifesto and produced numerous paintings that have earned him 30 major national and international awards, including “Toile d’or of the Year” for three consecutive years. Dr. Bonbon was named an Ambassador of Arts and Letters and was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the International Academy of Contemporary Arts. He has obtained patents from the National Institute of Industrial Property and received the National Medal of Recognition as part of the National Order of Merit attributed by the president of the French Republic.
