JULY HISTORY SUMMER CAMP 08 Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Jensen Alvarado Historic Ranch and Museum 4307 Briggs St, Riverside, CA 92509

Go back in time to live like the Californios of the past by churning your own ice cream, tend to farm animals, cook tortillas on an outdoor stove, and build an adobe of your very own! This camp will help kids understand how the Jensen Alvarado family lived in the 1800s.

JULY LEMON LILY FESTIVAL 13 Idyllwild Nature Center 25225 CA-243, Idyllwild-Pine Cove, CA 92549 Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Presentation on the rare and threatened native lemon lily. Self-guided story walk, bounce house, live music, crafts, local vendors, and more!

JULY TWILIGHT TAILS 20 Saturday, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Hidden Valley Nature Center 11401 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505

Twilight is a perfect time to come out to the beautiful Hidden Valley Nature Center and take an up close look at live nocturnal animals. Families and kids of all ages can learn amazing facts with a special presentation with a rehabbed animal. Come have fun with games, crafts, and enjoy food trucks! Our Nature Center will be open for viewing out live resident animals, nature and wildlife displays.
