TRIAD SENIOR CARE FAIR – FREE The annual TRIAD Senior Care Fair on Tuesday, May 21, 9am- 12pm at the Christiansburg Recreation Center will feature exhibitors providing information on local agencies, businesses and organizations who provide services to seniors. Pick up safety information, freebies, register for door prize drawings and have light refreshments.

LOCK BOX PROGRAM – FREE The lockbox program available for older adults provides emergency first responders a way to gain access into the home of participating residents to expedite access during a medical or other emergency. This program is sponsored by the TRIAD S.A.LT. Council and implemented by the Christiansburg Police Department. If you have any questions, contact the Crime Prevention Specialist (CPD) at 540-382-3131. NRV SENIOR GAMES The NRV Senior Games are being organized by Radford Parks and Recreation and will be held April 28-May 3 at venues throughout the New River Valley. The games are open to participants 50 years of age or older and consist of a multitude of athletic and social events.
