Acceptance Testing: Applicators & Source

• Make electronic inventory of all hardware and disposables

• Applicators – confirm dimensions and serial numbers

– confirm applicator shielding magnitude and shape – check connecting tubes and other ancillary equipment

• Source – validate source-to-dummy marker coincidence – superposition: transmission radiograph & autoradiograph – use electronic imaging tools if no radiochromic film

• Determine source strength (covered on Day 3)
