SHA1 Stereo Headphone Amplifier Kit

 22. Install U1, one of the LM386 audio power amplifier ICs. Check the orientation of this chip to make sure the dot or notch representing pin one is in the same direction as shown in the parts diagram. Make sure all eight pins are through the board before soldering. Note that it is very easy to have a pin folded under the IC instead of being though the holes. This problem is easy to remedy before you solder the IC.  23. Install C10, a 470µF electrolytic capacitor. Orientation!  24. Install U2, the remaining LM386 audio amplifier IC. Again make sure that all eight pins are through the board before soldering and that the part is installed in the correct direction.  25. Install C12, a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor (Marked .1 or 104).  26. Install R7, a 2 ohm resistor (red-black-gold).  27 Using a scrap component lead, install JMP8.  28. Install C9, a .01uF ceramic capacitor (marked .01, 10n, or 103).  29. Install R2, a 13K ohm resistor (brown-orange-orange).  30. Install C15, a 220uF electrolytic capacitor. Polarity!  31. Install C14, the other 220uF electrolytic capacitor. Orientation!  32. Install R8, a 2 ohm resistor (red-black-gold).  33. Install C11, .01uF ceramic capacitor (marked .01, 10n, or 103).  34. Install C13, a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor (Marked 104 or .1).  35. Install J2, one of the RCA type jack. Rams y Customer Use Only Not For Publication
