During 2014 we welcomed to the Railtrail team Rob Carroll, who is quite probably the most experienced and well known European rail holiday specialist in the business of rail holidays. With his and our combined experience and commitment to quality of service we have been developing our portfolio of European classic rail holidays. We are delighted to launch both here and in our separate Railtrail Signature Tours brochure, the first of these NEW tours , with fabulous Lake Garda, Venice and The Italian Lakes appearing in our Classic collection for the first time. We trust they will prove as attractive to you as our original, ever-popular tours. We have also started a new initiative, contracting a professional film company to accompany and film some of our tours, to enable you to preview a previous departure of your Railtrail holiday. The first of these films – Swiss Mountain Steam – can be viewed at www.railtrail.co.uk along with our latest UK film following some of the superb Scottish rail journeys that feature in a variety of our Highlands tours. To the best of my knowledge this approach is unique in our business. When viewing these films you will not see a “promotional tourism video”, but OUR clients on OUR tours – such is the confidence we have in our holidays and your enjoyment of them. From recent client feedback we see that ‘all-inclusive’ is now frequently requested.
