Last year, Bernadette spend a year abroad in Paris and Monaco, where she worked as Project Manager for an Event Management Agency. She is keen to build on her international experience and branch out to East Asia. Zoe Liu Marketing (film festival) First Degree: Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Clare College, Cambridge Zoe is a final-year student at Cambridge reading Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. She spent the last year in Kyoto, Japan and has travelled extensively in East Asia, with experience teaching in China and time spent in Hong Kong and South Korea. She specialises in East Asian film and is currently writing a dissertation on Japanese films that tackle the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and Fukushima nuclear disaster. With experience in media and PR, having interned at Seven Hills and London and Kyoto Journal in Japan, she now acts as Head of Marketing at Watersprite Film Festival in Cambridge.
