S UBJECT : Standard Method Performance Requirements (SMPRs) for the Detection of Salmonella in Leafy Greens ____________________________________________________________________________ BACKGROUND: Erin Crowley will provide an overview of the SMPT for the detection of Salmonella in leafy greens (romaine lettuce and baby spinach) developed by the Working Group, including a review of the public comments received. The attendees will discuss and recommend any additional changes. The SMPR will then be brought to vote by the Stakeholder Panel. RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION BY ISPAM: • MOTION to accept the Standard Method Performance Requirements for detection of Salmonella species in romaine lettuce and baby spinach.
