1037 1949 A set of Parcel Post stamps, total 10 stamps, overprinted ‘Restricted use for Remittance only’ ( 匯兌專用 ) in black character. The overprint was done by the Peiping Head Post Office, London print $10,000 with overprint character ‘Tientsin’ in violet, all used, on a few stamps the cancellation can been recognized as bilingual ‘PEIPING’ rimmed dot cancel. Originally from the set in blocks of 4 in Fuerst collection (photocopies included). Each stamp with K.C.Tan security chop on reverse who is a famous philatelist in Taipei, Taiwan, plus an article attached. Only 4 copies of each stamp known. Rare. Photo HK$ 90,000 - 100,000
