 Fingerprints- use of one or more fingers and/or palm print  Optical- use of a retinal scanner to use the uniqueness of eye “patterns”  Voice- use of spoken words to ID your voice pattern/tone  Facial Recognition- use of a scanner to look at your facial features

Common Uses for Biometrics Replace passwords:  Access to any mobile devices

 Access to structures and secure rooms within these structures  Verification of identity when confirming a transaction Identification:  Background checks  Passports, etc.
