Breast Interstitial Brachytherapy

 Depending on the volume to be covered, 1, 2 or 3 planes are drawn on the patient ’ s skin, laterally and medially to the area to be implanted  Planes are separated by a ~ 1.5 cm- 2 cm distance (Based on the Paris system) planned site of needle insertion is drawn, with an average distance of 1.5 cm in between markings, using a triangular pattern.
