Broadway at Tournament Drive was presented Friday Night, May 3, 2019. Edna Lynn produced the International Night of the trainees and staff entertainment and as usual had a surprise ending. The countries represented were “Asia, Philippines, India, China, Indonesia; Africa, South Africa and Maurities, Europe, Germany, Austria, Ukraine; South America, Peru, Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia; America, USA. The next to last act was Grishu, Arthur and Soroj from India dressed in their native garb danced the native dance of India and half way through were joined by our own Ashish Sethi and Vineet and then followed by all from India and other countries who knew the dance. Ending in the final song, “We are the World.” with all the country flags represented, proudly displayed and flying. Chills still go thru me as I remember the camaraderie of staff and members as all sang. bobbe wiener
