48 TOREROS NAMED TO PFL HONOR ROLL The USD football team placed 48 student-athletes on the inaugural Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2001 semester. With a total of283 student-athletes from nine member institutions being honored, USD had the most student-athletes selected. PFL athletic directors and coaches established the honor roll as a way to recognize the league's outstanding student-athletes. The academic honor roll consists ofstudent-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the fall semester and posted a 3.0 grade-point average or higher while enrolled full-time in accordance with NCAA rules.
