2020 Peter P. Lejins Research Award Nomination

In honor of Peter P. Lejins, a distinguished research professor whose work has influenced the world of corrections and criminal justice for more than 50 years, ACA may award to one recipient each year the Peter P. Lejins Research Award. ACA members may nominate individuals who have conducted correctional research and must include the following information with the nomination form.

Nomination package materials should be submitted in the following order:

Biographical sketch of the nominee.

3. A specific list of research projects to support the nomination. 4. A positive evaluation of the nominee’s contribution by at least one competent and recognized researcher in the field of corrections. 5. “Tell Us About Your Nominee” form (next page).

Please limit your nomination package to those five items. Please keep your package concise and organized in this manner to make for an easier review by committee members. Nominees need not be ACA members, however, they must have been responsible for research that has contributed significantly to the field of corrections. All nominations must be received at ACA’s headquarters by June 1, 2019 .
