10. UNLOADER CIRCUIT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The unloader circuit operates in conjunction with the Automatic Clamp .up control circuit. When the clamp raises automatically, the auto clamp up relay (CR7)re'mains ·energized, holding the clamp up and supplying 24 volts de t9 actuate the air jet nozzle of the unloading circuit. There are two identical cir– cuits which operate simultal)eOU;ly for a controlled length of time. One air jet nozzle is mounted on the machine top surface to the right of the clamp table and blows the completed material out to the left. The other: air· jet nozzle is mounted above material holder and blows the completed material do.wn to a hanging position. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION Each unloading circuit consists of a solenoid operated air jet nozzle, a triac, two relays and a time-

constant controlled capacitor which supplies· the voltage to energize the holding relay -for the correct duration of time. The unloader operates whenever the clamp table is in the forward position and the· clamp arms are raised automatically. Twenty-four volts de is available through the contacts of relay CR7 and the Auto Clamp Up switch to Unloader triac QlO, through the control com– ponents on the unloader circuit board. The length of time the air solenoid is energized is varied through the potentiometer. Normal adjust ment is to have as short a blast as possible on the right hand nozzle and a slightly longer blast on left hand nozzle.
