Requirement Types

Functional

A functional requirement describes something the system  must do, for example a behavior or action.  For example, “the  system shall move.” A constraint requirement describes a constraint or restriction  that the system, or the project, must comply with.  For  example, “the system shall move on land.” A performance requirement describes a property or quality  that the system should have.  For example, “the system shall  move at a speed of 65 mph.”
