Trafika Europe 1 - Northern Idyll
Six poems from Sweeney: an Intertonguing
Rody Gorman
Rody Gorman (b. 1960) hails originally from Dublin, Ireland and has taken up residence on the Isle of Skye, in Scotland. He writes mainly in Scottish Gaelic and Irish Gaelic.
Rody translates his own work into English via a method he dubs "polysomatic", concatenating portmanteau words that evoke the rich multiple meanings of the original Gaelic words.
