MLS® home sales in Sudbury up for third consecutive month

May 2024 - The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of the Sudbury Real Estate Board totaled 249 units in April 2024.

The overall MLS® HPI composite/single-family benchmark price was $471,400 in April 2024, increasing by 10.5% compared to April 2023.There were 263 new residential listings in March 2024. This was the lowest number of new listings added in the month of March in more than 35 years. Active residential listings numbered 515 units on the market at the end of April, a significant gain of 31.4% from the end of April 2023. Months of inventory numbered 2.1 at the end of April 2024, unchanged from the 2.1 months recorded at the end of April 2023 and below the long-run average of 4.3 months for this time of year. The number of months of inventory is the number of months it would take to sell current inventories at the current rate of sales activity.
