Distribution to clubs from the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League, the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League and the 2018 UEFA Super Cup and solidarity payments for the qualifying phases

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are pleased to provide you with information concerning the distribution to clubs of commercial revenue from the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League (UCL), the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League (UEL) and the 2018 UEFA Super Cup (SCUP). Details of solidarity payments to clubs participating in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League qualifying phases are also provided. All net revenue from club competitions (including the sale of tickets and hospitality packages for the UCL and UEL finals and the SCUP) will be centralised in a single pot. As you are doubtless aware, a new distribution system applies for the 2018–21 competition cycle. The gross commercial revenue from the 2018/19 UCL, the 2018/19 UEL and the 2018 SCUP is estimated at around €3.25bn . The distribution plan (including fixed amounts) is based on this amount. However, given the continued high volatility of exchange rates and the unstable global economic situation, we encourage all clubs to adopt a prudent approach when budgeting for their anticipated income, even for fixed amounts. Final distributions will be based on payments actually received by UEFA.

All the provisions below are therefore subject to final confirmation by UEFA and cannot be considered as guaranteed income until further notice.
