W hen specialities are considered together, as here, the group portrait can have a certain reductive effect. Do these highly developed procedures not warrant individual treatment? They do, indeed, as any of the entries in this section of EuroWire will demonstrate. But regarding them as a group can serve as a valuable reminder of their reciprocal function.
