CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER : The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.

INTRODUCTION: Mrs. Krall thanked everyone for attending this summer meeting in person and by conference call. She also thanked Linda George for filling in during Kathy O’Brien’s absence. RULES & REGULATIONS: There was discussion regarding certain instances where applications have been submitted with home designer Brian McCarron signing as the architect of record. Mrs. Krall stated that due to inaccuracies in the past, all future applications must be signed by a licensed architect and that the architect must appear before the ARB. There will be no exceptions to this policy. METAL ROOF APPLICATION: Mrs. Krall reported on an application submitted by Mr. Bud Koff (13062 Redon Drive), to replace his roof with a new metal roof due to water intrusion. Messrs. Adler and Luskin, who were in residence, viewed the application and Mr. Luskin visited the property. After discussion regarding metal roofs, Mrs. Krall made a motion “to approve the metal roof application submitted by Mr. Bernard Koff, as submitted, without setting precedence.” Dr. Shuter seconded the motion and the motion carried by a 6 to 1 vote. (In favor: Krall, Kleinberg, Shuter, Schultz, Halpert, Adler) (Against: Luskin). This subject will be added to the October agenda for further discussion with consideration to revise the ARB Manual regarding future metal roof requests.
