Malvika Goswami, the Green Queen from Frenchman’s Creek Beach & Country Club, has been tasked with developing and managing the club’s Green Strategy. Pamela Rudd is spearheading the Club Culture Report™ as an internal communications. 9. Purpose. Key Findings of a recent 2018 CONE/PORTER NOVELLI PURPOSE STUDY shows Purpose is important to most people. In fact, 78% of Americans believe companies must do more than just make money; they must positively impact society as well. 77% feel a stronger emotional connection to Purpose-driven companies over traditional companies and 68% are more willing to share content with their social networks over that of traditional companies. 10. Staff Recruiting. It is highly recommended the club include verbiage and promotional material in the recruitment and on-boarding process. While great benefits are a plus, many people, especially the millennials strongly consider the clubs purpose prior to making a decision.

o Energy Star rated equipment o High efficiency lighting program o Low flow faucets and low flow or dual flush toilets o Motion sensor lighting controls in restrooms

o Day light sensors in guest area o LED interior and exterior signage o Non-smoking environment o Outside air monitoring of CO2 o Indoor air quality management during construction o Reuse of at least 30 percent of store furniture o Low VOC (volatile organic compounds) materials, paints, adhesives o Electrical sub metering and thermal comfort monitoring o Certified green cleaning program o Recycling and construction waste management program o LEED/Eco Restaurant educational material o Furniture products not manufactured with or containing ozone depleting substances
