on concrete, hanging on the wall in the living room shows that works of art are in, especially those abstract pieces devoid of the story and often of the definite forms, too. Transparent self-levelling floor shows concrete slabs, where a textured pattern of cracks partially remains; natural lines of imperfect underlying surface are combined with a perfectly even flooring. Trying to design a neutral space, which offers the advantage of rearrangement and adapting it to any modern person’s lifestyle, the architects aimed at providing the owners with choice that motivates them to create on their own. As one can have several interpretations of an abstract picture, this “stripped” image can offer several scenarios of developing relations with objects and space; and the owner has the right to make his own choice.

The combination of wood and concrete, which was first noticed as beautiful by Japanese architects and is actively employed in Europe these days, served as an aesthetic basis for the “new” building. Movable partitions – folding screens and a drape dividing the space within the flat, do not create an impression of isolated zones. On the contrary, one rather gets an idea of a single and holistic interior ready for any change, where the equal value of each component remains despite the rearrange- ment of components. The sofa in the living room requires special attention; like a construction set where bulky stuffed bags serve as parts, it places an emphasis on the creative approach to the apart- ments, being a good example of a bright creative idea.
