Ruskovilla Product Catalogue 2025-2026

waist, protecting areas that get cold easily. Thanks to this, I no longer need to wear a second pair of bottoms underneath. The adjustable waistband is another great feature.

when warm. They’re incredibly comfortable indoors and not too hot at all.

The adjustable waistband makes them fit perfectly. I also wear them for easy walks or in the garden in dry weather, though for more demanding conditions I’d switch to sturdier outer layers. LAST BUT NOT LEAST Whether you’re cross-country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, working, or simply relaxing at home, Ruskovilla’s wool layers are versatile and keep you dry, warm and comfortable. For me, investing in quality wool base layers made locally from responsibly sourced organic materials makes all the difference. So whether you’re heading for your next winter adventure or cosy by the fire after a day outdoors, you’ll be ready to embrace the cold!

My tip: choose a snug and comfortable size –these pants hardly stretch out over time.

3. A GAME CHANGER: MERINO SHORTS! My weakest spots in harsh conditions are the sides of my thighs and buttocks. Wind affects these areas, and since the body prioritises warming vital organs, blood flow there decreases. My solution – and a true game changer – has been merino shorts. The unisex shorts are also made of 100% organic merino wool (210 g/m² knit) and produced in Finland. They feel amazing on the skin, with zero itchiness. I wear them on their own in early winter, or under my base layer for extra warmth. They do loosen slightly with wear, so I recommend choosing a smaller size –unless you prefer wearing them over your base layer, in which case go bigger. 4. GOES ON TOP OF EVERYTHING: WOMEN’S WOOL FLEECE JACKET Not technically a base layer, but so versatile that it’s become a year-round favourite. In winter I wear it over my base layer; on milder days, simply over a shirt. The design is simple and timeless, so it works with I especially value the two-way zipper and practical zip pockets. Wool doesn’t need frequent washing, which makes this jacket even more appealing. I wouldn’t wear it for heavy activity though, as it’s not designed for hard use. 5. WEAR INDOORS OR OUTDOORS: WOMEN’S WOOL FLEECE PANTS At first, I wasn’t sure how much I’d use these, but they’ve become a staple. Warm and soft like the fleece jacket, they’re made from 100% organic merino wool, and once again you really feel wool’s natural temperature regulation: warming when cold, cooling jeans or my outdoor kit. With a knit weight of 300 g/m², it keeps me wonderfully warm.
