Andrew Hicks Andrew Hicks is a young writer and poet from Max Meadows, Virginia. Linda Hudson Hoagland Linda Hudson Hoagland, a regional writer from Tazewell, Virginia, has written many mystery novels along with works of nonfiction, 5 collections of short writings and 5 volumes of poems. Houston Jackson Houston Jackson is a young poet hailing from Wytheville, Virginia. Judy Jenks Judy Jenks is a native of Appalachia from Southwest Virginia who is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in rural health and is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Radford University. She holds a post-graduate certificate in Appalachian Studies and enjoys kayaking and hiking. She is a published photographer and author of creative nonfiction, humor, poetry, journalism, and academic writings. Paul Jones A manuscript of Paul Jones’ poems crashed into the moon’s surface in 2019. Another moon shot in February 2024 landed successfully. Allen Kade After 39 years as a professional educator, Allen Kade is immersing himself in the passions of his early life - writing, visual art, and people.
