Finally, this review of good practice in the area of advertising does lead to the question: When did you last read SPA’s advertising policy and review the advertising that you are using to ensure your advertising is appropriate and ethical? If the coming holiday period is a slow time of year for you it may be a good opportunity to use the checklist below to audit your advertising and make any changes required to bring it in line with the policy.
