THE SEVEN STEPS The Seven Step process is intended to be flexible enough to accommodate any campus and each step should be implemented to suit the campus capacity at the point of implementation. The seven steps should become an intrisic part of day-today operations.

Themes

Registering for the programme may take place any time of the year and is valid for one & a half years in order to qualify for an award. To atempt the next award campuses must re-register every one an a half years and submit evidence of the seven steps for that cycle.

The Seven Steps are the most important aspect of the EcoCampus programme. Working with individual themes gives the programme further structure. Campuses can adopt a multi-themed or single theme approach. Based on the environmental review the EcoCampus Committee can prioritise which themes they'd like to address.
