The main entrance to COP26

than meeting say once every five years we will see COP summits take on a greater significant and gain attention on an annual basis (smaller COP summits have been taking place annually) in the same way as the G7 and G20 summits. Our OGUK roundtable with the New Statesman, Scotland Office Minister Lord Offord and others provided a timely and frank discussion on the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition. We have been clear that our work on the energy transition doesn’t endwith COP26. We will keepworking to deliver the North Sea Transition Deal and champion this industry’s role in meeting energy demand now and in the future, while being the backbone of the transition to greener energy. If you’d like to share your reflections on COP26 or the OGUK activity associated with the conference, please do get in touch.
