I. Description of the SAMX’DRAINER The SAM X’DRAINER® can be used to drain every type of cooling circuit. To avoid any malfunctioning, it is essential that the compressed air circuit should be at a pressure comprised between 6.5 and 10 bar max. This device allows you to drain, check sealing, create a vacuum, fill the cooling circuit under negative pressure and temporarily store contaminated liquid. It can also be used to test the valves on the expansion tank caps. Used coolant intermediate recovery pan with a capacity of 12 L.

50 L lower pan and gauge for measuring the extracted used coolant for the protection of the environment. New coolant pan with a capacity of 20 L. Recovery pan with a capacity of 15 L enabling gravity transfer if required. Connected directly to the expansion tank. Supplied with an adapter cone enabling connection to most vehicles.

II. Bleeding the cooling circuit to the SAMX’DRAINER® tank

Check that the valves on the funnel and 50L tank are closed before connecting the equipment to your workshop’s compressed air network. Using the gauges, check the used coolant recovery pans. The 12L intermediate tank must be absolutely empty. (See paragraph VIII). The 50L tank must have sufficient capacity to receive the used coolant. If necessary, this tank must be emptied before being used again. (See paragraph VIII).
