FIDDLESTICKS COUNTRY CLUB

Welcome Home

GENERAL INFO

Ryan Shaw, General Manager, CCM, CCE

Welcome to Fiddlesticks Country Club! We are proud to share our one-of-a-kind community with you and hope that your stay here is everything you dreamed it would be.

Every season we have a wonderful contingent of renters such as yourselves. And we are pleased to report that a majority of our renters transition into resident members, whether it be after the first year or the third. The members here are truly a welcoming crowd and the community as a whole has a warm and receptive feel as soon as you drive through the gates. This, combined with the low course density, the uniqueness of the homes, the professionalism of the staff, the attention to detail, and the abundance of activities and events, is why so many have made Fiddlesticks their home. While here, should you have any questions regarding the amenities, the community in general, or the membership categories and fee structure, please let me know. You may pick up a copy of the newsletter, The Piper, at the front desk. A link for the newsletter can also be found on your home page of the website. The Club website and app are great tools to stay connected. Your default website username will be your member # (assigned prior to arrival) and your password will be the first initial of your first name and last name. Example: Bob Smith (Member #1234) would have a username of 1234 and a password of bsmith. If his spouse Susan Smith was accessing the website, her username would be #1234A and password ssmith. Upon your first login, you will be asked to re-set your username and password. Once you update your username and password for your website account you will next want to download the ClubEssential app

onto your mobile device. The app will require a one-time login. For the Club ID, use the word fiddle (all lowercase). The username and password will be the same that you use for the website. Once you arrive on property, if you have any questions regarding your unit please contact the rental agent/member directly.

Again, Welcome Home!

DINING

Chris Dew, Director of Food & Beverage

Fiddlesticks offers a variety of venues and menus to suit the needs of our members and guests. Our hours of operation sometimes shift, so it’s always a good idea to check the weekly e-mails and the website for the most up-to-date schedules. In the Clubhouse, reservations are recommended for dinner in the dining rooms, but we do accept walk-ins (space permitting). For busier nights, such as Wednesdays (pasta nigh) and Fridays (prime rib), we recommend that your make your reservations as far in advance as possible. The Pub and Patio are seated on a first come, first served basis, both for lunch and dinner. We offer live entertainment consistently on Wednesday through Friday and provide occasional live entertainment on Saturdays. Be sure to check the left hand column of your weekly e-mail for the current entertainment offerings.

The Cabana offers lunch and dinner seven days a week (January - April) for those looking for a lighter fare in a resort-style setting. And don’t forget our mouthwatering pizzas — a member favorite!

The First Tea (Coffee Café) and Fiddle Inn (Snack Bar) are both open seven days a week in the morning and afternoon and provide a quick stop for those making the turn or those who want a quick bite. Current menus for all venues are listed on both our website and our app. If you have any special requests or dietary restrictions, please let our staff or managers know so that we may accommodate your needs. Take out is available at both the Clubhouse and the Cabana. Simply call the numbers below to place your order. You will find current take out menus for lunch and dinner in the clubhouse lobby.

HOME SWEET HOME

Sarah Martini-Ricci, Director of Happiness

The Home Sweet Home Program exists to welcome guests such as you and provide an opportunity to meet other members and guests. The program strives to ensure that all of our renter guests not only enjoy their stay, but each has a heightened awareness of all that Fiddlesticks has to offer. We feel that our Home Sweet Home Program is unique. Each

Ambassador is a volunteer club member who will be available to you during your stay to offer any suggestions or guidance you may need while becoming familiar with the community and the amenities.

During your stay, you will be invited to play a round of golf with other guests and members, both seasoned and new. Afterwards it is cocktails and dinner at the clubhouse, as our guest. This season’s 2020 Ambassador outing dates are: February 6 and March 5 . We hope one of these dates will accommodate your schedule. Golf begins at 1:00 p.m., followed by cocktails and dinner. At the dinner following golf, you will have an opportunity to meet many members as well as other renters and staff. You will learn about the different activities and tournaments and how you can participate and make the most of your stay. Please contact Sarah Martini-Ricci as soon as possible to let them know which of the above dates you would like to attend. She will be happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding the program.

FAREWELL TO FIDDLE

Sarah Martini-Ricci, Director of Happiness

Even though we hate to admit it, we know the day will come when you have to leave us and go back up North. But before we let you go, we would be honored to have you join us for one more meal together. I know for a fact even after a couple of months being in the

community you will have plenty of amazing stories to share and we would love to hear all of them! You will have an opportunity to mingle one last time with the new friends you made during your stay. Of course all the key staff and ambassador members will be there as well to send you off! I know it will be a bittersweet gathering, but hopefully it won’t be goodbye, just see you soon. This season’s Farewell to Fiddle dates are: Friday, February 28 and Monday, March 30 . We hope one of these dates will accommodate your schedule. Breakfast will be served at 9:00AM in the Clubhouse. Chef Ryan and his team will make sure that your meal is so delicious, it will have you coming back for seconds (seasons that is). Please contact Sarah Martini-Ricci as soon as possible to let her know which of the above dates you would like to attend. Stay on the cart path until you reach the stake next to the path 75 yards to 150 yards off the tee and then leave the path and proceed to your ball. Keep the cart in the fairway until you reach the stake that is 40 yards to 60 yards before the green, or until both players’ balls are on the green, then return to the cart path. (Players with handicap flags must be at least 10 yards from the green.) This policy will vary the entry point from the cart path thus improving aesthetics and protecting the grass around the green that is required to execute lofted shots.

Lightning Policy Fiddlesticks is equipped with a course sound alert warning system. If the system detects a lightning strike within seven (7) miles, a fifteen (15) second continuous blast horn will sound to signal you to take appropriate precautions for your own personal safety. When there has not been a lightning strike within seven (7) miles for fifteen (15) minutes, the horn will sound with three (3) five (5) second blasts and you may proceed to where you discontinued play. The decision to ignore the course alert may put you and your group in greater danger and continued play is discouraged. Ultimately, it is your decision and play is at your own risk at all times.
