Analogic headlight tester with adjustable checking panel ( for a complete check and analysis of vertical and horizontal deviation ). The aluminium column is equiped with a counterweight balancing system. Ope rator can move the box with a perfect positioning precision. with 230mm lens. with 3 in height adjustable wheels to obtain a perfect floor leveling. No fixed rails required in accordance with MOT guidelines. If the floor is straight. it does not need to be placed on rails. There is a round eye in the device. and with this you can level it by adjusting the wheels. Built-in laser pointer And then there is a laser pointer in the device itself and there you set the height to the center of the lamp. Hella has a separate laser pointer. which you can quickly lose. Ours is built-in. The laser pointer shines straight through the lens towards the car. You have to adjust it to the center of the bulb in the headlight. The lamp must be switched off. When you have done that. you have adjusted the height so that it is exactly in the center of the headlight. Laser bridge At the pole is a laser bridge (mirror) at the top. which gives a wide line across the width of the car. which you can adjust by means of the screw on it. An Allen screw. And then you adjust it to be right on the two points of the car. Then he gives a horizontal laser line over the car. Then the device is completely set. Built-in Luxmeter There is a Luxmeter in digital. which measures the brightness of the lamp. And indicates this on the screen. With this you can test whether the reflector is still good. by comparing it with the specified va lue. Hella and Weber don't have this either. Often the lamp becomes dull due to the heat of the lamp. This allows you to measure the values whether they still comply. If this is not the case. the car will be rejected. Calibration During demonstration. the trunk and back seat must be empty. no weight in the car. and the lighting must be off during measurement. (with automatic on off) Then you have to measure the front and back with the laser pointerwith the tape measure. to check whether the car is standing upright in front of the headlight device. If it is not upright and backwards. you have to correct the difference with the button on the back. This allows you to rotate the image window up and down. Here you can process the difference.
