Doris E. O’Brien Award Herb L. Swarts, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was the recipient of the Doris E. O’Brien award volunteer in 2023. Mr. Swarts has served on the Board of Directors for 27 years including the last 9 years as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has always put FLFCU and our membership at the forefront of his priorities. The award was created in honor of Doris E. O’Brien who served on the Board of Directors and created a legacy that inspired others to engage in volunteer service while embodying loyalty and dedication to FLFCU. Mrs. O’Brien served on the Board of Directors for 28 years before her passing in 2010. Willie M.
