LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello fellow FBINAA Members,
We had a wonderful 2024 as an Association. We welcomed new members from Sessions 289, 290, 291, and 292 to the FBINAA family. The amazing experience that you had at the FBI National Academy doesn’t have to come to an end. You can continue to expand your network, attend great training, and enjoy amazing experiences by remaining engaged and active in our Association. We encourage each member, both new and existing, to stay active in our Association and engage with their local chapters. Our new Association leadership has been in place for over a year now. Executive Director Jeff McCormick and Deputy Executive Director Angie Wier have done an amazing job leading our team at the FBI National Academy Associates. You will not find a better team anywhere. The men and women who work in our National Office are some of the most dedicated people I have ever met. On top of that, they are amazing human beings who are caring and compassionate. They truly care about each member of our Association. As you review the information in this annual report take comfort in the fact that you have a National Office team that is dedicated to administering our current programs and developing the programs of tomorrow that will help this Association continue to thrive. Our focus for 2025 is on Association membership and our theme is “Back to the Network”. We encourage each member to reach out to inactive members in the association and invite them to renew their membership and become active again. Let them know they are missed, and that the Association will be stronger with their involvement. Not only does the Association have benefits for them, but the Association benefits from them being active.

LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dear Friends,
2024 was an exciting year for the FBI National Academy Associates. Thank you for reviewing this annual report and noting our efforts and successes. Reflecting on our past achievements informs our efforts to make even greater strides in 2025! The FBINAA’s Member Services Branch worked on overdrive this past year. We implemented a new, focused engagement plan with the students while they were going through the National Academy. We are deliberate in emphasizing the honor of having been selected to attend the world’s most prestigious law enforcement training academy and the benefits and importance of remaining lifelong members of the FBINAA. At the same time, the membership branch was focused on increasing the benefits of membership for existing members. We added several exciting benefits provided by new and existing sponsors. Speaking of sponsors, the law enforcement profession relies on cooperation, and we are so grateful for our relationships with our alliance partners. Our Strategic Partnerships Branch did an excellent job working to develop and maintain the mutually beneficial relationships we have with our Alliance Partners. Even in these challenging and uncertain economic times, these steadfast allies recognized the important work we can accomplish together for the improvement of the law enforcement profession. Please review the list of our partners on pages 14 and 15, and when you contact them, let them know how much we value their relationship with us.

Our Marketing and Communications Branch does a tremendous job highlighting the many activities and accomplishments of the Association. They are responsible not only for member communications but also our website (FBINAA.org), the Associate magazine, Chapter Chat, and our presence across our many social media platforms. They have also worked hard this year revitalizing a great number of our chapter logos. Finally, the Training and Education Branch expanded its capacity and footprint in 2024. In addition to our Leadership Forums, we increased opportunities to participate in the FBINAA Leadership Certification Program. The LCP went International with its first session offered in Canada! Plans are currently underway to improve even further on this great program. Our vision is for the continuous development of the world's strongest law enforcement leadership network, and with the continued support of our members and partners, I am confident 2025 will be a banner year for the FBINAA.
Remember, the FBINAA National Office is here and committed to helping you out with any questions you may have.
Best wishes,
Jeff McCormick Executive Director

EDUCATION & TRAINING
LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATION PROGRAM In 2022, we introduced the FBINAA Leadership Certification Program. This program offers a series of courses, open to all law enforcement professionals, that encompass the latest strategies, techniques, and real-world leadership scenarios to prepare each attendee to better lead their respective unit, shift, or agency into the unpredictable future of law enforcement. Since its inception, over 2,000 individuals have enrolled in the program with over 220 graduates. TRAINING WEBINAR SERIES Our members and their staff enjoyed 19 free webinars in 2024 as part of the FBINAA's Training Webinar Series. These webinars covered the latest topics and trends in law enforcement and public safety, and featured experts from around the world. Over 2,700 law enforcement executives benefited from this member service. LEADERSHIP APB PODCAST SERIES In 2024, the FBINAA continued with the production of its podcast series entitled Leadership APB. The monthly Leadership APB podcast series engages law enforcement and public safety executives in discussions on timely and current topics affecting first responders around the world. These leaders share their leadership and managerial philosophies, successes, and obstacles they have encountered in their careers. The podcast series is a free audio program distributed to FBI National Academy Associates’ members, their staff, and other law enforcement executives that provide our communities, states, countries, and professions with the highest degree of law enforcement professionalism and expertise. The Leadership APB podcast series is broadcast on the first Wednesday of each month. In 2024, 12 episodes aired with a listenership of over 7,000 members and nonmembers.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
LEADERSHIP FORUMS In 2024, the FBINAA conducted 11 Leadership Forums: two Mass Casualty Response Leadership Forums, one Demonstrations, Protests & Riot Strategies Leadership Forum, four Officer Resiliency, Safety & Wellness Leadership Forums, one School Shooting Prevention Leadership Forum, and three Leadership Tactics and Strategies for Tumultuous Times Leadership Forums. The goal of these Forums is to provide all law enforcement and other leaders with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to improve the overall security and wellness of their communities. OFFICER SAFETY & WELLNESS Officer resiliency, safety, and wellness continue to be one of the keystone advocacy issues of the FBINAA. In 2024, thanks to the support of the Motorola Solutions Foundation, over 3,000 law enforcement and correctional officers were trained in the Comprehensive Officer Resilience Program® and 28 new trainers were certified through Train-the-Trainer programs held throughout our Chapter network. THE FALLEN OFFICERS FUND Verizon Offers Support Where It Matters, When It Matters. For many years, Verizon has supported Public Safety and the families of law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice. To date, Verizon has donated more than two million dollars to the surviving families. These funds are distributed through Verizon’s partnership with the FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. In many instances, members of the local FBINAA Chapter will present the donation to the family. Please contact the office of the FBI National Academy Associates with information on any sworn officer killed in the line of duty, feloniously or accidentally. The Association will coordinate with Verizon and The Verizon Fallen Officers Fund to distribute funds to that officer’s designated beneficiary.

CONFERENCE
60TH NATIONAL ANNUAL TRAINING CONFERENCE JULY 20 - 23, 2024 | KANSAS CITY, MO The four-day 2024 National Annual Training Conference was attended by 1,674 participants. The event featured 37 hours of law enforcement training sessions, a general membership meeting, two major evening events, a welcome reception, an additional social mixer on the exhibit hall floor, opening and closing ceremonies, a professional exhibition, and four hospitality receptions. This was the first time the National Annual Training Conference had been held in Kansas City in several decades. The last time it was hosted in the city, it was at the same venue, and some members of the Co-Host Committee had supported and participated in that event. The conference was a great success, thanks to the tremendous efforts of the Kansas/Western Missouri Chapter, the Co-Host Committee, and local law enforcement volunteers from the metropolitan Kansas City area.
