Standard: Retinyl palmitate, retinyl acetate, -tocopherol, -tocopherol acetate

Prep: Enzymatic hydrolysis and solvent extraction

Normal-phase, column switching, 2 x Si, 3 um, 30 mm and 200 mm

MP: 98.94% Isooctane, 1% dichloromethane, 0.06% isopropanol; Flow – 0.4 and 0.8 ml/min

Detection: UV, 325 and 285 nm,; Fluorescence, excitation 295nm/emission 330nm

Mean Recovery: na

Limitations: complicated hardware set-up, best for dedicated lab
