Institute of Medicine. Food and Nutrition Board established Dietary Reference Intake for Folate expressed as Dietary Folate Equivalents. Washington, DC: National Academy Press; 1998. Since the SMPR publication regulations on compositional and information requirements for IF and FSMP were published in Europe: EU 2016/127 and EU 2016/128 including Folate requirements in DFE. SMPR 2022.006 still pertinent with regard to existing regulations:
