Karen Schimpf, Ph.D., Abbott Nutrition Inositol – Co-Chair

Karen graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. She began working at Ross Laboratories as a technician in

the water-soluble vitamin laboratory. During her career at Ross, she has developed several methods for the quantitation of oil and water soluble vitamins in infant and medical nutritional products and biological samples using normal and reverse phase, ion exchange, and size exclusion high performance liquid chromatography coupled with ultraviolet/visible, fluorescence, and electrochemical detection.
