As summer ends and the chilly weather starts coming around Leaves turn orange as the fall fair comes to town The sky is a toasted chestnut and the evening sparrows sing their song People start lining up outside they've waited all summer long Smiles and laughter on the Ferris wheel as it spins with delight The sun has now gone to sleep and the fair lights up the night Familiar faces and food you adore nothing like a funnel cake and carnival games galore Welcoming sweater weather With a cozy embrace The smell of pumpkin and fall fair magic fills this place Like a summers kiss goodnight as autumn slowly awakes nothing like the Patrick County Fair and the memories you make
