Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the Chebeague Island Historical Society will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Island Hall.The purpose of the meeting is to elect Officers and Trustees and to approve the amount of annual dues proposed by the Governing Board for 2019.

The Nominating Committee has nominated the following people to serve as trustees for three years:

- Tracy Ames - Melissa Ames

- Carol Lyn Davis - Mary Holt

- Alison Paradise

Nominations for Officers and Trustees may also be made by written petition signed by seven (7) or more members of the Society, with prior consent of the proposed nominee(s), said petition to be submitted to Caroline Loder, Recording Secretary, at least ten (10) days before the Annual Meeting and posted on all public boats and stores not fewer than seven (7) days before the meeting. An affirmative vote of a majority of the Members present at the Annual Meeting is required to elect Officers and Trustees.

On June 16 , Galen Koch, a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, will present her film on the history of the Casco Bay Lines. She has produced audio stories for NPR, BBCWorld Service, and The Heart. Please join us for this wonderful evening.
