DR. O’DONNELL IS RETURNING TO THE WELLNESS CENTER THIS SUMMER!

The proceeds from Chedemption have been tallied, checks have gone out, and it is time to think about signing up to help keep the cans and bottles making money for the island nonprofits! You don’t have to be a member of a nonprofit to help. Please let Annie Thaxter know that you are willing to lend a hand, and she will make sure to find a time that works for you. The cans and bottles have to go off the island one way or another, and by working together, we can make sure they don’t go into the trash and add to the cost of island waste removal. And the fact that the money returns to the island in the form of checks to each participating nonprofit is nice too! Please let us know whether you are interested in helping with the 4 th of July Parade. The theme this year is “Songs of the Sea.” Dr. O’Donnell is back! He will be here every other Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:30 starting June 6. Stop in and say hello. It looks like the popular free dental clinic will be back in August. We will post the date as soon as we know when to expect them. You can get an appointment to get your teeth cleaned, have an oral cancer check, and obtain referrals for further dental work.

The Wellness Center with Paula Favreau, RN, Is Open for Blood Draws, Blood Pressure Checks, PT/INR Testing, Medication Setup, Flu Shots, Dressing Changes, Suture Removal, Wellness Checks, and Health Information No appointment needed. No charge for these services. Tuesday June 12 & 26 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

Dr. Redmond of Casco Bay Chiropractic is coming to the Wellness Center on June 15 You can now have your chiropractic treatment right here on the island!

Call his office to schedule your appointment (829-1200), and let them know you would like to be seen on the island.
