Alcalá 1979

The Rogers and Hammerstein classic, "Oklahoma" came to USD and was made available by Mike Taylor who arranged a means of allowing the production to be subsidized by the AS Social Fund. Mike Taylor played the lead, "Curley Mclain" as Danielle Forsgren opposed him in her role, "Laurey Williams." The other characters, "Will Parker" and "Ado Annie," played by Tim Ryland and Pixie O'Donnell, provided the comic romantic relief in the musical play. Also important in the play were Helen Kasperick, "Aunt Eller" and Marcellus Silva, "Jud Fry."
