WOMENS· VOLLEYBALL

In the short span of four years, womens volleyball has made tremendou progre s. John Martin led the team to a 13-2 mark in 1975; second place in the WA IAW regionals and 4th in mall college nationals in 1976, and in 1977 5th in the West regionals. Naturally they were considered one of the trongest team throughout the nation for 1978. Four of the mainstays of last years

Roach and Sheila Wright. A bevy of new players included Janelle Moser, Kathy Phillips, Anne Rudy, freshmen Noreen Jesswein, Sue O'Hea, Betty Crotty, Chris Schulte, and Mary Beckman, a two-time All American transfer from Floussant Valley J.C. With a wealth of depth and experience, the womens volleyball team enjoyed another successful campaign in 1978, and looks for many more in the future.
