r he LSD soccer team posted an 8- 17-1 record in 1978-79, but their competitiveness and sportsmanship won the re~pect of their foes. Coach Juan Mora guided the club through its inaugural eason. The team featured players from many countries and included arlos amacho, Muhamed Tehrani, Che Tehrani, Ricardo Garcia, teve Reins, Patricio Valdez, Dave Miller, and player-coach Armando Aguilar. In the initial stages of their development, the soccer Toreros showed great improvement and diligence in their efforts. Next season they will rcpre!>ent D in the ultra– competitive Division 1.
