This past year the tranquility of Alcala Park was shattered by the death of four students; Matthew Boyd, Paul Fitzpatrick, Kate Fons, and Kirk mith. Their loss was heartfelt throughout the USO ommunity. Death is neither pleasant nor easy to accept, but the pain of their demise has served to remind us of our mortal being. We have been deprived of their physica l presence, but each of them remain in our hearts and minds.
