Intermediate Examination, July, 1916. taxed by the Taxing Master. The appellant taxed her costs before the Recorder's Registrar, who disallowed certain items. From his decision Miss Radcliffe appealed to the Recorder, who affirmed his Registrar's decision. The present appeal was taken from the latter decision. During the course of the arguments the Court raised the point that these costs should not have been taxed by the Registrar, but by the Taxing Master of the High Court. After discussion, and after conferring with Master Kilbride, and having referred to the case of In re Hanafin, a Bankrupt (1907), 2 I.R. 109, the Court discharged the order appealed from, holding that the County Court had no jurisdiction to tax the costs, which were to be taxed by the officer of the High Court, each side to abide its own costs of the appeal.
