sons, Dagman has guided the USO mens' squads to six sets of medals at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships: two bronze, two silver, and two gold. In a gold medal P.C.R.C. performance in 1994, Dagman's varsity four set a course record of six minutes and twenty-five seconds. Dagman was named to the USO post in 1992 after serving as senior assistant coach at UCLA from 1986-91. He earned three varsity letters as an oarsman for the Bruins (1982-85), receiving the team's Most Valuable Oarsman Award in 1984. Dagman is currently serving as the President of the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association as well as serving as the southwest representative for the Men's Olym– pic Rowing Committee. were gold medal wi nners at the San Diego City Champion– ships. In the 1994-95 season the eight and four repeated gold medal performances at Ci ty Championships. Addi– tionally, the women's eight had a nearly undefeated dual season, losing only once to UCLA in regular-season com– petition. Crain has a rich rowing history. A native Califor– nian, she spent three seasons w ith the UCLA Bruins (1986- 88), during which she was named to the Pac-10 All-Confer– ence Team as well as earn ing the titles of UCLA's Most Valuable Oarswoman and Outstanding Bruin Athlete in 1988. Crain went on to train and compete with the U.S. National Team in 1988 and 1990.
