These developments have been possible due to the addition of modern equipment at the company’s Tarapur works, including bright annealing furnace and ultrasonic testing equipment. The commissioning of a bright annealing furnace from Mahler, Germany, will allow Remi to manufacture and anneal tubes in small diameters, with lengths up to 30m.

To enhance its product portfolio, Remi has introduced high pressure (HP) feed water heater (FWH) U-bent tubes. The company is now also approved by India’s major thermal and nuclear power companies for heat exchanger HP heater U-bent tubes (seamless, welded, and welded cold drawn), where the temperatures (390°C) and pressures (~600kg/cm 2 ) are super critical. Following on from vendor approval qualifications that include Saudi Aramco, the company has announced that it has gained approved vendor status from FPAL Kazakhstan for the supply of carbon steel pipes. Tube Developments is fully registered as a supplier on the First Point Assessment Database for suppliers to the oil industry in Kazakhstan, for the provision of products and services as detailed in the membership listing on www.fpal.com. This is in addition the existing approval for FPAL for the UK, Ireland and Netherlands.
