ROBERT and LORETTA LIFTON have some wonderful news about Robert’s sister. My sister, Francine Klagsbrun will be speaking at the Mandel JCC on Hood Road on February 10th at 11:00AM. As noted in her biography, "Lioness: Golda Meir And The Nation Of Israel has been extremely well reviewed and won the National Jewish Book Award for 2017. She is a superb speaker and I can personally assure our members that they will enjoy her talk as have thousands of others across the nation. The program is free and open to the public. Fran plans to enjoy staying at Frenchman's Creek with Loretta and me starting Friday afternoon, February 8th through the weekend.

Francine is an author of more than a dozen books, a regular columnist in The Jewish Week and a member of the editorial board of Hadassah maga- zine, She has succeeded in making an impact on both American and Jewish culture. Her most recent book Lioness , is an in-depth examination into the legacy of Golda Meir and was named 2017 National Jewish Book Award/ Everett Family Foundation Book of the Year.
