Applications should comprise a completed application form, downloadable from the School’s website (www. stedwardsoxford.org) or the Aspirance website (www. aspirance.co.uk) and a separate CV. It is essential that, for compliance purposes, the application form is completed in full and any gaps in employment or education explained. The personal statement in the application form should explain your interest in the appointment, highlight how you meet the most important requirements of the person specification and explain how you might stand out from other, similarly-qualified, candidates – why you should get the job not just why you could do it. When applying, please notify Aspirance if you would be unavailable for interview on any of the dates set out below. Closing Date Applications must be received by 9.00am on Monday 3 rd June 2019. Since we reserve the right to commence discussions with strong candidates ahead of the closing date, early application is recommended.

Selection Process Applications will be acknowledged by Aspirance shortly after receipt. After the closing date, all candidates will be informed by email or phone of the outcome of their applications. Candidates who appear to match the requirements most closely will be invited to an initial interview with Aspirance in Oxford on 10 th , 11 th or 12 th June 2019. Following these initial interviews, the best- qualified candidates will be invited for interview with a selection panel including a number of the School’s Governors. Interviews are likely to take place during the week commencing 24 th June 2019 and will include a brief tour of the School. A final selection of candidates may then be invited back for further interviews on either 1 st or 2 nd July 2019.
