FRESHMAN 2004-05 Appeared in nine non-conference games, starting San Diego's season-opener at Arizona State (11 /20). __Injury forced her to miss a span of 13 games from late December thru early February.. _Came back to play in each of San Diego's six games to close out the year. . Averaged 14 minutes of playing time in a total of 15 games... One of her most productive outings came in the Toreros regular-season finale , helping USO defeat Santa Clara (2/26) by scoring 14 points, grabbing seven rebounds , totaling three steals and connecting on a pair of three-pointers, each a season-high... Had a team-best four rebounds during an early-season win against Clemson (11 /26)... Cleared five rebounds and a season-high four offensive boards vs. Portland (2/17)... Averaged 3.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game .. Was 6-for-10 from the free throw line. HIGH SCHOOL Enjoyed an outstanding prep career at Bishop Blanchet High School in the Seattle area.. Was a McDonald's All-America Nominee and named one of the top-10 prep players in the state of Washington... Served as the Braves' team captain as both a junior and senior.. Honored as a First Team All-Metro League selection twice... Averaged 18 points per game as a senior, leading Bishop Blanchet to a fifth-place finish at the 2004 Washington State Championship Tournament... Named a Second Team All-State performer in 2004... As a junior she scored 16 points per contest helping the Braves place second in the Metro League... Garnered numerous accolades as an underclassman... Was named a 2004 Seattle Times Scholar Athlete... Was an honor roll student all four years in high school. . Also played for the Yakima Elite club program, scoring 15 points per game on a team which produced a number of Division I scholarship players... Coached by Terry Wilkinson at Bishop Blanchet. OFF THE COURT Born on May 30, 1986 in Seattle as Michelle Lynn Augustave... Daughter of John and Lynn Augustave... Was heavily recruited out of high school, by among others, Cal, Santa Clara, Washington State, Washington, Louisville, Colorado State and Michigan State... Chose to attend USO because of the coaches, campus and the location... Modeled and was an actress from ages 3-8... Comes from a very athletic family... Father, John, played basketball at Seattle U.
